I was wondering if you could have an option to only post photos if they have a certain hashtag. I like sharing some of the photos to my blog, but not all of them. Otherwise it is a great plugin! |

Thanks Brian! Something that is planned. I have added a small development plan for everyone to view. If anyone has any suggestions not on the plan feel free to reply! |

I’d love to see “post formats”-support. It would be nice to post Instagrate-photos as “image”-format – if the theme supports it – ADDED 1.1.0 |

The ability to center the photo on the post would be great! |

Hi Jason That can be done in the plugin options by changing the CSS class of the post image. I use the default WordPress class for post images to center “aligncenter”. Cheers |

Is there anyway to get on an update list for Hashtag specific posting. We are very interested in that feature! |

I *think* the hashtag feature might be the solution I’m looking for but ideally, I’d like to be able to NOT post something to my blog periodically. otherwise, it’s beautiful and I love it! |

Hi there, Thanks for the great plugin! Really loving the integration – all works superbly. So as I see it’s on the plan, I was wondering if you had a timeframe ie., would it be realistic to expect that by June you may have this in a new release or is that a bit optimistic? Hope to hear from you and thanks again for a great API integration! |

HI there Further to my post above, as it’s something that we really do need in order to make the site work, I’d be willing to donate/pay for the service if it means you can allocate time to add it to the next release. If you could let me know, I’d be much obliged. Ant |

Hi guys, version 1.1.0 has lots of new features – check it out! |

Hi Iain, Love the plugin. I’ve not upgraded or tested v1.1.0 yet, but will do ASAP. Two things I think would be great; 1: I had a few pics that were un-named in Instagram and the name was blank when selecting the dropdown in the settings, this was a little confusing, perhaps un-named pics could be given a default name of “No Name” or something? 2: Rather than a post per pic could there be a weekly round-up of pics? Like a gallery style view? Thanks for the awesome plugin. Dan |

Hi Dan, Glad you like the plugin! Yes I agree with your first point and will add it to the development plan for the next release. Your second point is a much requested feature and is on the plan. Cheers, Iain |

It would be nice if in the WordPress media library, the “title” of the image was set to the title from Instagram rather than the file name. |

Hi! If i choose not to store the image in library, i wont get a featured image. Since all my instagrams shows up in a slider that shows the featured image, that doesnt work that good for me and i have to store them in my medialibrary. Its possible to have a featured image set from the link? Would save a lot of space… |
| March 31, 2012 at 5:45 pm #503 | |
|
Iain |
Hi Jerry I believe featured images can only set from attachments in the media library, and therefore the plugin is operating within the functionality set out by WordPress. Cheers |

This is the feature I came here to request and someone had already asked: “I was wondering if you could have an option to only post photos if they have a certain hashtag. I like sharing some of the photos to my blog, but not all of them. Otherwise it is a great plugin!” |

Hi James, Thanks for the post – it’s definately on the dev plan! |

Hi! It’s possible to create all the Instagram feed as posts? It would be interesting to create posts of all images present in Instagram feed. Thanks! |

Got two “requests” Could there be a %%-option to put a link to the actual instagram page in the Custom Body Text, e.g. %%link%% will produce a “View image @ Instagram” linked to the actuall instagram page where the picture is located. An option where you can chose to put the “title” as a caption for the image in your WP-post. Other than that, thanks for a super great plugin >^_^< |

Great plugin! My only small gripe is that the plugin doesn’t automatically attach images to the posts, which is a pre-requisite for a gallery portfolio page I use on my website (otherwise it doesn’t display the image). If that could be incorportated into a future release it would save me a lot of time having to manually attach the images to the created post so the images show properly. |

Would be nice to have support for post types if there are Post types registered with a theme (see http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/register_post_type). Stephan |

Is there a way to move the caption to below the photo? Thanks! |
| April 21, 2012 at 10:43 am #627 | |

Iain |
Hi Dave, you can use the %%image%% and %%title%% tags to position them in the custom post body setting in the plugin settings. Cheers, Iain |

Hi Dave, In my plugin settings I set the ‘Custom Body Text’ to something like this – This is some body text next to the shot %%image%% for image called %%title%% You could just set it to - %%image%% So it has the image with the title underneath it. Let me know how it goes, |

Would love to be able to link the photo in the WordPress post to the Instagram page for the photo (where it shows likes, account name, followers, etc, i.e. http://instagr.am/p/J2Q-DmveNZ/) rather than just the raw photo itself. |

Thanks Sam, good idea – adding to the dev plan now. Cheers |

That’s what I thought you meant, and I tried it. Currently have the tags in place, but the old posts still have the caption on top. Will it apply the change to the old posts, or only to new ones? Thanks again, |

Hello, I love the plugin! One thing that would be handy for me is if the WP posts could be generated as drafts, rather than immediately published. I like to customise each one (with tags, categories, body copy, sometimes combining a few of the Instagram images into one post, etc.) Cheers! —Rachel |

Only can repeat the suggestion from Sam, somehow getting the link for the Instagram photo page. For my use case a custom link tag for use in the Custom Body field would be perfect, something like %%instagramlink%% |

I love this plugin. I do have one request though. It would be helpful to have the file names of images added to the media library be same images caption. Or have a dynamic default title for images that don’t have a caption. The current files names consist of a random array of characters that aren’t search engine friendly. |

One more thing… would love to see all hashtags converted to post tags. |

I would love when using the gallery option if the thumbnails would link back to the original instagram post and not the image that has been saved to my wordpress. http://utahtheaterbloggers.com/11741/utahtheatre-weekly-photos-from-our-readers |
